To Live Inside Color is an original abstract painting by Lisbon-based artist Anna Rolskaya. Built up in layers of acrylic and oil pastel, the composition brings together coral, pink, apricot, pale blue, violet, olive green, and flashes of cobalt.

Broad brushstrokes, fluid lines, and partially concealed marks move through a dense field of overlapping forms. Color shifts between transparent and opaque passages, creating a surface that feels immersive, restless, and continually in motion.

The title imagines color not as something observed from a distance, but as an environment to enter and inhabit. Forms dissolve into one another until color becomes atmosphere—holding the painting between intensity and softness, physical sensation and memory.
