The Other Art Fair
Bringing my most personal work to date to The Other Art Fair was, above all, an act of self-confrontation. I needed the professional light, the crowd, the labels and the booth, the whole setup of public presentation, to finally stand in front of my own work as a stranger would. To read the pages of my visual diary from the outside. In the studio, surrounded by familiar walls and layers of process, it is easy to grow numb, to develop a kind of immunity to the burst of color right in front of your eyes. Here, there was nowhere to hide. I wanted to hear how my artistic voice sounds in a room full of unfiltered eyes, to watch my colors and patterns breathe and move without me narrating them. It was an act of courage wearing the mask of an exhibition.
Lisbon Art Fair
This fair was held at the main city venue for contemporary art in Lisbon (like ARCO Lisboa), a space that carries weight. For me it was about placing myself inside the local art scene as an independent painter who lives and works here, who is shaped by this city's light and colors. A step toward belonging to a place, not just working in it, and a chance to meet local collectors and hear how Portuguese visitors respond to my visual language.
Art Expo Algarve
Held in the south of Portugal, the fair turned out to draw mostly international visitors, which I didn't expect. Most of my paintings found their forever home among art lovers from the UK, the Netherlands and Germany. A reminder that sometimes your work travels further than you planned.
Connection Studio
Opened in 2024 with four of my freshly finished works on display. The selection is updated twice a year. I’m proud to have my paintings in a place that supports the local wellness community in Anjos.
Café Alba
Café Alba opened in 2024 with two of my new paintings on display, renewed upon sale. I love having my work in such a beautiful place—connecting with both local and international audiences.
