Pulse of the Earth is an original abstract painting by Lisbon-based artist Anna Rolskaya. Built up in layers of acrylic and oil pastel on canvas, the composition brings together pale blue, rust, blush, olive green, charcoal, cream, and earthy brown.

Broad brushstrokes, translucent passages, scratched lines, and scattered splashes move across the square surface. Areas of pale color open between denser, darker forms, creating a rhythm that feels grounded but never fixed.

The title considers the Earth not as a static surface but as an active, continually changing body. Color and gesture suggest an underlying movement—a quiet pulse carried through soil, growth, erosion and renewal.
