Hunger for Immersion is an original abstract painting by Lisbon-based artist Anna Rolskaya. Built through layered mixed media on canvas, the composition brings together coral, burnt orange, deep green, turquoise, muted violet, cream, and earthy brown.

Sweeping brushwork, translucent passages, scratched lines and repeated marks create a surface that shifts between openness and density. Forms emerge, dissolve and overlap, pulling the eye through areas of compression, movement and atmospheric depth.

The title refers to a desire to move beyond detached observation and enter experience more fully. Color and gesture become a space of absorption, holding the painting between physical intensity and emotional surrender. The work can be displayed in either portrait or landscape orientation, with each position revealing a different movement through the composition.
