Apple Garden is an original abstract painting by Lisbon-based artist Anna Rolskaya. Built up in layers of acrylic and oil pastel, the composition brings together ochre, amber, pale blue, coral, dusty pink, olive green, charcoal, and deep navy.

Translucent veils of color, broad brushwork, looping lines, scattered dots, and splashes create a surface that shifts between visibility and concealment. Fragmented forms gather and separate across the canvas, producing a rhythm that feels abundant yet unstable.

The title approaches the garden not as a literal landscape but as a space where sensation, memory, and organic growth intertwine. Familiar shapes remain close to recognition without fully settling, holding the painting between recollection and invention.
