Interior Designers
Art is often considered last in a project, after the palette is chosen, furniture is arranged, and the installation date is set. This is typically when designers contact me.
I’m Anna Rolskaya, a contemporary abstract painter based in Lisbon. I collaborate with interior designers and architects on residential and hospitality projects, either by providing existing studio works or creating new pieces tailored to your space’s size, orientation, and color palette.
My paintings are in private collections across the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Europe, and featured in hospitality and wellness spaces in Lisbon. I create original hand-painted works in acrylic and oil pastel on canvas, ranging from small pieces up to 200 × 200 cm.
If you have a specific installation date or strict deadline, please let me know at the outset. I will recommend only options that can be delivered on time.
Two ways to work together

A curated selection from available originals
Send me the concept: mood board, palette, wall dimensions. I will go through the studio and return with a shortlist chosen for that room. For multi-room projects, I can put together pairs and sets that work across a floor plan.
A commission in your size and palette
A new original made for your project. Your mood board sets the colour direction and mood. The painting is built in my own layered abstract language, so the result belongs to the room and remains a genuine work of art rather than a decorative fill.
Two registers, one language
My work moves between two palettes, with a project usually pointing clearly to one of them:
- Vibrant and luminous — my signature pinks held by muted green, blue and purple. Colour that carries a room and gives it a focal point.
- Restrained and classic — the warmer register of yellow, orange, deep blue and green. Quieter, timeless, easy to live with over years.
Both are built the same way. Thin translucent washes are layered over one another, with oil pastel and drawn marks worked in so the surface holds depth when you stand close.
How it works
1. You send the project
Mood board, palette, wall dimensions in cm or inches, the location, and your install date. A budget range helps me point you to the right scale straight away, though it is entirely optional.
2. I come back with a shortlist or a commission proposal
You receive links to available works, a direction for a commission, or both, with sizes, prices, timelines, and shipping clearly laid out. Send a wall photo or a render. I will place the suggested works into it so you have something to present to your client.
3. You approve, and I begin
Available works are invoiced and shipped after payment is received. Commissions start with a 50% deposit, and the balance is paid after you approve the finished painting from photographs and before it ships.
4. Delivery, documentation and support
Invoices include your company details and PO references when needed. Every painting comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, is packed professionally, and shipped with tracking. Insurance is available for the full value. I remain reachable throughout installation.

Questions designers ask
Can you work from a mood board or a reference palette?
Yes. Your mood board sets the colour direction and atmosphere. I then paint in my own language and materials, which keeps the result an original artwork with its own presence in the room.
What sizes and materials do you work in?
Acrylic and oil pastel on stretched canvas, available in vertical, horizontal, and square formats up to 200 × 200 cm or larger. Larger walls can be covered using a diptych or triptych.
Do you provide mockups for client presentations?
Yes. Send a wall photo or a project render and I will place the suggested works to scale, so your client can see the room as it will look.
How quickly can you deliver?
Available works ship quickly, usually within a few days of payment. Commission timing depends on size and complexity — share your install date and I will confirm honestly what fits it.
Do you ship internationally, and how do paintings travel?
I ship worldwide with tracking, and insurance can be added for the full value — recommended on commercial projects. Within Europe, paintings can travel flat on their stretchers up to 100 × 150 cm; to the USA and Australia, flat shipping is most straightforward up to 60 × 80 cm. Larger works travel rolled in a tube for stretching on arrival, and I confirm the best option for your destination in the proposal.
Do you offer art rental or leasing for hotels and offices?
Leasing is open for discussion on selected commercial projects. Send the space details, the duration you have in mind and how often you would want the selection refreshed, and I will propose options.
Where are you based, and where do your clients work?
My studio is in Lisbon, Portugal. I work with designers and private collectors across Europe, the United Kingdom, the United States and Australia, and my paintings are placed in homes and hospitality interiors in all of them.
